Historical perspective on NIMS.(National Incident Management System)(Brief Article)

FEMA and the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Integration Center have issued a paper entitled, "NIMS and the Incident Management System." The paper provides an historical perspective on the development of the Incident Command System (CS) from its inception in California in 1970 in the aftermath of a devastating wildfire.
