UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Viterbi School of Engineering has received a $100,000 grant from the Annenberg Foundation to research contour crafting--a computer-automated construction technology designed to reconstruct disaster areas in weeks rather than months or years. USC engineers are aiming to demonstrate a full-scale prototype in 2006.
