At Quebecor Printing's Mt. Morris, Ill. plant, selective binding and ink-jet imaging technology allow magazine, catalog, and direct-mail customers to produce as many as 20,000 different book versions. This capability allows American Express to reach its magazine readers with advertising messages to suit specific ages, lifestyles, budgets, and interests.
