In its crash test, the DSC 7000 vertical lift barricade's 725-lb. beam stopped a 15,000-lb. vehicle traveling 50 m.p.h. (equivalent to 1.2 million ft.-lbs. of kinetic energy) to meet the K12 certification standard set by the U.S. Department of State. Twelve- to 30-ft. wide barrier protects roadways from attack.
