Fujitsu Siemens (Munich, Germany) is set to launch a workstation laptop, the Celsius H230, designed primarily for professional graphics applications, such as GIS, CAD and visualisation. It features professional standard graphics and long-lasting batteries and is based on Intel's latest 915PM Express chipset, Pentium M processor and Centrino Mobile Technology. Added functionality comes from ATI's PCI Express-based Mobility FireGL V5000 3D graphics accelerator, which includes a 256MB of graphics memory. The UXGA screen displays 1600X1200 pixels and is based on in-plane switching technology.
