GfK Macon produced a map showing the number HIV-incidences has been rising again in recent months. The new statistics of the WHO (World Health Organization) suggest that there is a lack of consciousness about the risk of a HIV-infection. Therefore, politicians and celebrities will publically appeal for more attention to this important issue on World Aids Day on December 1st. GfK MACON has created a map which shows the cases of new HIV-infections per million inhabitants for Europe (according to the new WHO-data, up to and including December 2004).
