Bentley Systems (Exton, PA, USA) announced that Empresas Publicas de Medellin E.S.P. (EEPPM), Colombia's largest multi-utility company, has selected Bentley as its sole software provider for water distribution modeling solutions. Headquartered in Medellin, Colombia, EEPPM will use Bentley's WaterGEMS to support a ten-year master plan to reduce water loss and improve the reliability of its water supply system. Serving more than 3 million people across ten different cities in the Aburra Valley, the system consists of more than 3,200 kilometers of pipe, 95 tanks, and 29 pump stations.
