I am coming up on 2,400,000 miles of riding Harleys in my 79 years of life, and in this time I have met Clement Salvadori only once. It was in the early '90s at a little out-of-the-way bamboo Mexican eating spot on a beautiful beach 20 miles South of La Paz, where I was on my annual January-February ride around Baja, and he was road-testing a new Triumph.
