Dude, I enjoy your magazine--even if we spell our first names differently. This is regarding the news piece, "Be Careful out There" (February issue, page 20). Yes, we have to be careful, but how misleading are the highway stats? It states 4,008 cyclists died in 2004, and this is an all-time high; yes, it scares the crap out of me, but it fails to show how many more riders are on the roads.
The previous piece, "Sold," goes into some detail as to the highest number of motorcycles sold in more than 30 years, but nothing seems to take into account the number of ...
