American Rider, May, 2007 by Reinhard, Denny
I just read a letter in the latest issue claiming Victory Motorcycles by Polaris to be held by Japanese interests. Hogwash! Polaris Industries is a publicly held American company, stock symbol PII on the New York Stock Exchange. They are headquartered in Medina, Minnesota, with an engine plant in Wisconsin, a motorcycle and ATV assembly plant in Spirit Lake, Iowa, and a snowmobile and watercraft plant in Minnesota. They even own 25 percent of KTM in Austria. I think it is time the truth was known and maybe we, Victory riders, can get a little more respect for a change.
