Orange adds to IPTV.(IPTV)

Orange has signed an agreement with France 24 to broadcast this news channel as part of its TV-on-ADSL bundles in its foreign subsidiaries; for the moment, the agreement concerns TV-on-ADSL offerings in Spain, Poland, Senegal, and Mauritius. Orange will be proposing France 24, the new international news channel, to its TV-on-ADSL subscribers abroad.

Orange currently offers TV-on-ADSL in several countries including: Spain, Poland, Mauritius, and Senegal. Broadcasting of France 24 will be gradually implemented in these four countries. The agreement could be extended to other countries. As of December 31, 2006, Orange had 590,000 subscribers worldwide on its TV-on-ADSL offerings.
