KANSAS CITY--Builtonone of the oldest parts of the University of Missouri--Kansas City campus, Flarsheim Science & Technology Hall takes design cues from the neighboring Hang Hall and is still able to house mechanical lab equipment. The limestone and brick facade and red-tile roof blend with the surrounding buildings on the quadrangle, and strategic placement on the site minimized dirt removal and preserved existing trees.
