The $18.7 million Edwardsville (Illinois) Middle School was placed on an aggressive schedule to make sure that the 152,000-square-foot structure was under roof by December 2002 to allow the interior work to proceed through the winter. The project is scheduled for completion in June 2003. The school is on a 47.8-acre site and will become the second middle school in the district.
