JLG Industries, Inc. and Caterpillar Inc. have signed definitive agreements to enter into a global alliance for production of Caterpillar-branded telehandlers. Under the 20-year alliance agreement, JLG will develop and manufacture for Caterpillar a lineup of Cat-branded telehandlers for global distribution. Concurrently, JLG signed definitive agreements with Caterpillar to acquire certain equipment, tooling and intellectual property of its telehandler group.
JLG will provide support for the North American and Latin American markets from its McConnellsburg, PA, facility; other global markets wii1 be served by its Maasmechelen, Belgium, facility.
