AT&T - Bringing Value to its New Owner.(Brief Article)

In-Stat asked 353 enterprise respondents which word or phrase best characterizes how they perceive AT&T. Enterprise decision makers' perceptions of AT&T validate some of its longest standing value propositions; that it is a stable global provider with exceptional national reach.
However, AT&T would gladly trade in some of these older perceptions for more coveted ones where it did not score as well. For example:
- Neither customers nor non-customers view AT&T as dynamic and innovative; these received the lowest score of both groups.
- Non-customers are more likely to view AT&T as 'behind the times.'
- Neither group strongly views the company as essential to business.
