The 4540 Series Power Meters capture, display, and analyze RF signals in the time and statistical domains and sustain a range of technologies including RADAR, GSM, EDGE, CDMA, EvDo, UMTS, WiFi, WiMax, LTE, CATV, OFDM, and MiMO. The 4541 provides one measurement channel; the 4542 offers two. Users can select and display more than 30 parameters per channel.

In addition to preprogrammed settings, an auto setup mode detects and applies measurement settings to any given input signal. The CCDF mode collects up to 4 GS of data. The 4540 family supports sensors up to 110 GHz with a range of-70 dBm to 44 dBm (CW) and -55 dBm to 20 dBm (peak), a 70-MHz video bandwidth, up to 7-ns input rise times, and time resolution of 200 ps.
