Goldman Sachs Group Inc launched the Goldman Sachs E-Commerce Index, which includes 39 unnamed stocks. An increasing number of Internet index funds are based on the Internet Stock Index, which is compiled by Interactive Week editors. Dan Burke, an analyst at Gomez Advisors in Concord, Mass., says Goldman's new index will carry more weight.
