Pacific Select takes equity stake in newcomer Advanced Financial; Deal gives broker network a distribution channel through community banks.(News)

Byline: Bruce Kelly NEW YORK - Pacific Select Distributors Inc. this month said it had made an equity investment in a new broker-dealer and registered investment adviser, Advanced Financial Solutions Inc. The deal gives Pacific Select, already a holding company for five broker-dealers, another distribution channel, as Advanced Financial will work exclusively through community banks.
