Fidelity Investments, a provider of custody and brokerage services to more than 3,100 registered investment advisers, has introduced an online road map tool to help guide new entrants through the complex process of establishing an RIA practice. Boston-based Fidelity's road map helps representatives who have already made the decision to become RIAs understand the process, allowing them to build a comprehensive plan that includes a checklist and timeline for addressing virtually all of the critical areas associated with establishing such a practice.
