Insurance trade group looking outside industry.(Conference Call)

Byline: Dan Jamieson INDIAN WELLS, Calif. - In an effort to build membership, the Society of Financial Service Professionals is reaching out to potential members from outside its traditional life insurance and estate-planning areas. As part of that effort, the Newtown Square, Pa.-based organization is starting a new investment management section to appeal to new members, as well as to meet the needs of its current base of insurance professionals, many of whom are moving into the investment management business.
