Samsung Electronics has developed what it says is the largest single-panel AM (active matrix-based) OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display for TVs. According to the company, the 21-inch. OLED features the highest resolution at 6.22 million pixels--WUXGA (wide ultra-extended graphics array). The panel also adopted AM-based technology for low power consumption and high-resolution qualities. The OLED offers brightness of 400 nit, contrast ratio of 5000:1, color gamut of 75% and fast response times, making it ideal for viewing HD-resolution video images.
