Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell gave out more than $3 million in trail grants. "These trail improvements ... attract out-of-state visitors ... thereby boosting local tourism and revitalizing communities." The largest grant--$1.9 million--went to develop the Rock Run Recreation Area.
