Rad plays the slots in Caesar's Palace. (Rad Data Communications wins contract to network slot machines at Caesar's Palace, hotel, Atlantic City, New Jersey)

Rad Data Communications a subsidiary of Bynet Data Communications has been awarded a contract to network the slot machines in Caesar's Palace hotel in Atlantic City. Each group of eight slot machines is controlled by a PC which reports data such as the amount of cash in the machine and number of wins. The systems will be interconnected over a token ring fiber optic cable network.

In another development, Rad has announced the release of a new product - the Megaplex-2004, a modular TI/EI multiplexer in a new, small chassis (2U high) which supports up to four I/O modules.
