First Japan-Tel Aviv charter. (El Al Airlines)
Israel Business Today, May, 1992
El Al inaugurated its first charter flight from Japan to Tel Aviv. The 15 hour flight with a refueling stop in Moscow is the first of six scheduled. The Boeing 767 aircraft carried 200 tourists who will spend nine days in Israel. The "tour package" cost each tourist $2,800-3,200.
