IBM Israel plans to install a comprehensive new facility management computer system in courthouses around Israel. The unique system is designed to handle civil claims in criminal and traffic offenses. It will first be used in a Tel Aviv courthouse and then upon its successful integration, will be placed in courthouses around the country.

All courts will have personal computers that will be connected to a central computer in IBM's Tel Aviv offices. IBM will teach the secretarial staff of the courts to use the system at its Tel Aviv training center. The system was designed jointly by IBM, Jerusalem-based Malam Systems, and IBS Software.
