Barclays Discount Bank General Manager Moshe Neudorfer's long-time familiarity and experience with Israeli taxation policy and structure has helped Barclays achieve the highest asset growth of any Israeli bank. In 1941, Neudorfer served as a messenger for British tax officials in Palestine and developed a career with the Israeli tax department. After 10 years as National Director of Revenue, Neudorfer left government service to head Barclays Discount Bank in 1978. Barclays securities have paid 17.24% dividends for a six-year period.
