Two major projects for Motorola. (Motorola Semiconductor Israel Ltd.'s two contracts with Japanese companies)

Motorola Semiconductor Israel Ltd has been awarded two large development projects. One of the projects involves developing special components for two Japanese electronic companies. The components, based on advanced digital technology, will be used for home video equipment and will afford superior Dolby sound quality.
In the other project, the company will, develop a series of electronic components for General Motors and Ford. The components will allow both the car owner and the mechanic to keep abreast of the condition of the car's motor, gears, brakes and other parts. Motorola is one of the semiconductor development centers of Motorola Inc.
