Yesh Gad buys asphalt factory. (Yesh Gad Construction and Investment Ltd., Astec America factory)

Yesh Gad Construction & Investment (1991) Ltd has bought a portable asphalt factory from the U.S. company Astec for $2.1 million. The factory can produce 2,500 metric tons of asphalt per day. It is the only plant in Israel capable of recycling asphalt which has been scraped from highways. Yesh Gad bought the factory after winning a number of large road paving contracts for different sites in Israel. One of the projects is the widening of the main highway connecting the Galilee to the central coast. Investment in the project totals NIS 15 million. It is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Another project is the widening of Highway Number 4, which runs from the Moresha Junction, northeast of Tel Aviv, to the Ra'anana Junction, at a cost of NIS 15 million. A...
