Supersol staples office supplies. (to establish retail office supply store with a concession from Staples)
Israel Business Today, October, 1993
Supersol has signed an agreement with a group of American business people to start a new company to import and market office supplies in Israel. The new subsidiary will hold a concession from the U.S. office supply chain Staples. The business people with whom Supersol is signing the deal are among the owners of Staples. Supersol will hold 62.8 percent of the equity of the new firm, and will invest approximately $2 million in it.
Supersol is the latest Israeli company to enter the field of retail office supply. An earlier entrant is Superpharm, which is bringing the Office Depot chain to Israel. Hamashbir Hamerkazi has introduced the Superwrite chain, with which Supersol competitor Co-op has signed an agreement to supply writing implements.
