A delegation from Polo Ralph Lauren recently arrived to examine the possibility of manufacturing Ralph Lauren underwear, knitwear and sportwear lines in Israel. The delegation, guests of the Israel Export Institute, expressed interest in an Israeli plant which would manufacturer Ralph Lauren clothing for the local market and for export, at an expected annual volume of $10 million. Among the textile companies the Ralph Lauren representatives visited were Macpell Fashion Industries, Delta Galil Industries, and Tefron.
