Magic buys Dutch company. (Magic Software Enterprises acquires Magic Benelux) (Brief Article)

Magic Software Enterprises of Ramat Gan has purchased 51 percent of the equity of Magic Benelux, which distributes Magic products in Holland. In 1993, Magic Benelux registered approximately $1.3 million in sales. Its customers include Royal Sluys, the Dutch branch of Budget Rent-A-Car and the Dutch Ministry of Justice.
Magic President David Assia said Magic Benelux and the new Magic branches in France and Germany will help establish his company's position in Europe. He said the Dutch company has already succeeded in establishing the Magic applications generator as a leading software development tool in Holland. Magic Software Enterprises expects its acquisition of Magic Benelux to double the latter's sales in the coming year, Assia said.
