IDB, Leumi to pay NIS 95 M in dividends. (Israel Discount Bank and Bank Leumi Le-Israel)

The Israel Discount Bank and Bank Leumi Le-Israel will pay dividends totaling NIS 95 million (approx. $32 million) to their shareholders with the publication of their 1993 year results. The dividend will be in addition to dividends already paid with the results of the first half of the year. Discount Bank will distribute NIS 35 million ($11.8 million) in addition to the NIS 36 million ($12.2 million) already paid this year. Bank Leumi will pay dividends of NIS 60 million ($20.3 million) in addition to the NIS 57 million ($19.3 million) it already paid.
The total dividends for the year comes to NIS 71 million ($24 million) for Israel Discount and NIS 117 million ($39.5 million) for Bank Leumi. The primary beneficiary of the dividends will be the Ministry of...
