Apple & Yozma discuss joint venture capital fund. (Apple Computer, Israeli government-owned venture capital fund) (Brief Article)

Apple Computers and Yoznia, the government owned venture capital fund, are conducting advanced negotiations to establish a new venture capital fund. The two sides are expected to reach agreement in the next two to three months, barring unforeseen difficulties. Yossi Friedman, director of Apple's R&D center in Singapore, visited Israel recently to advance the negotiations.
Friedman is the most likely candidate to head the new technological center which Apple plans to build in Israel in conjunction with the founding of the new venture capital fund.
