Israel and Jordan announce Jordan Valley development plan.

Israel and Jordan are developing a master plan to develop the Jordan Valley. It will include preparatory surveys for projects in the tourism, transportation, energy, water, agricultural and industrial fiels. The plan was developed with help from the U.S., and Israel and Jordan will request U.S. aid to assist in its funding. The World Bank has suggested that a joint document be prepared listing the projects seeming to exhibit the greatest economic potential, along with proposals for their funding.
