Informix looks for data warehousing solution.(forms marketing alliance with Business Objects for advanced reporting systems technology)

Informix and U.S.-based Business Objects have announced a strategic alliance covering the marketing and development of advanced reporting systems technology.
The two companies offer solutions for the efficient storage of data and rapid data retrieval as part of their data warehouse systems. The solution combines Informix's parallel database technology with Business Objects' decision-making s systems.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Informix will become a strategic distributor of the American company's systems and will integrate them in future products. Meanwhile, Business Objects will base its new range of products on Informix technology.
