Israel Business Today, June, 1996
Hollywood giant MGM has signed a cooperation agreement with Givatayim-based children's product manufacturer Comfy. Under the terms of the contract, the two companies will jointly develop two animated interactive movies which will incorporate the use of a Comfy children's keyboard.
The movies will feature well-known figures from MGM productions, including the Pink Panther, Inspector Clouseau and around 10 other famous characters.
Comfy managing director, Itai Cochavi, said the agreement represents an important breakthrough and expressed the belief that it will generate further marketing developments for the company.
Recently, a number of companies from Japan and the U.S., including leading U.S. investment bank Cowen & Company, have made investments in Comfy.
