Microsoft Israel and TIS share Hebrew mail. (Tadiran Information Systems Ltd., strategic alliance to produce and market a total e-mail system)

Microsoft and Tadiran Information Systems (TIS) have announced a strategic alliance agreement, according to the terms of which TIS's proprietary mail box system will be integrated with Microsoft Exchange. The combination will provide users will a total solution -- in Hebrew -- together with Microsoft Exchange's e-mail system operating under windows 3.11.
The new product will be marketed together with Microsoft Exchange via Microsoft's own distribution network along with Microsoft's other products.
A spokesperson for TIS explained that the new offering is user-friendly and offers users a range of facilities, such as filing, editing, proofing, electronic reminders, attachments, despatch and receipt of mail via the Internet and access to Microsoft's...
