Woolwich opts for Sapiens tool. (British building society using Sapiens International software for mortgage processing)

Leading British building society, The Woolwich, has selected the Sapiens International (Nasdaq: SPNSF) development tool as part of its program to develop a direct marketing mortgage system. Woolwich, which is the leading building society in Britain in the telemarketing mortgage market, used the Sapiens ObjectPool technology to develop a new system which allows Woolwich to process and authorize mortgages immediately.
Woolwich's computerization manager, Nigel Dailey, said that the new system provides the building society with a significant advantage over market rivals. "Using the Sapiens development tool, we have succeeded in developing a completely flexible system in the shortest time possible," commented Dailey.
