Prototype Of Mig-21 Crashes Elbit-IAI Joint Marketing Company.

Elbit Systems and the Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI) taking heed of the defense ministry's recommendation that Israeli companies join their foreign marketing offices under one roof, were trying to set up a joint marketing company. Unfortunately the marketing company will not be flying. Elbit's President Mr.
Jossi Ackerman accused IAI of wasting efforts on developing a prototype of an upgraded Mig-21 even though Elbit had already developed such a prototype. It was this prototype that won Elbit the project to upgrade Romania's 100 Mig-21 jets. Ackerman said that IAI feared that Elbit's technology was taking over the field in jet upgrades.
