Leading German Software Company Will Invest $200 Million In Israel.(Brief Article)

SAP a world leader German software house bought 51 percent of Israeli software company Ofek-Tech. SAP is the world's largest maker of business management software. The company had sales of $3.3 billion last year and employs more than 15,000 employees. SAP plans to invest $200 million in Israel over the next few years.

These investments will include direct investments in Israeli companies and the establishment of research and development centers. Dr. Peter Zencke said that his company plans to make Israel into its third main center of operations, behind Germany and the United States.
