President Clinton Inaugurated In Gaza A Network Computer Class (NC) Donated By Oracle.
Israel Business Today, December, 1998
U.S. President, Bill Clinton, inaugurated a network computer class (NC) during his visit to Gaza. The software giant Oracle Corporation donated the class and equipment for the computer-training center established in Gaza. For the first stage of the project twenty network computers were installed in the class. In the second stage of the project the number of computers will be increased to 50 and an additional center will be opened in Nablus, also with 50 Oracle network computers.
The installation work in the Gaza class was performed entirely by the professional team of Oracle Israel in collaboration with companies from the Palestinian Authority.
