Wall St. Ripe For Israeli High Tech Offerings.

With Wall St. riding high, analysts believe that the American equity market is ready to absorb additional initial and secondary public offerings of Israeli high tech companies; Gilat Satellite Networks, and Fundtech, (secondary offerings) successfully raised a total of $372 million in the first renewal of public offerings by Israeli high tech companies since the start of 1999.
The offerings which were sold on the Nasdaq exchange were underwritten by a group of leading American underwriters led by Robertson Stephens, and included CIBC Oppenheirmer, Lehman Brothers, and Salomon, Smith Barney.
