Fuzzy logic is poised for commercial debut Fuzzy logic, a previously obscure artificial-intelligence technique that's regarded as potentially useful for control applications, is starting to capture the attention of engineers in industry and at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

These engineers are taking a fuzzy-logic-based developmental coprocessor from Togai Infralogic (Irvine, CA) and putting it through its paces. Formal introduction of the coprocessor is expected later this year.
