Silicon Systems seeks 50 EEs. (Silicon Systems Inc. hiring electrical engineers) (Career)

TUSTIN, CA--IC-manufacturer Silicon Systems Inc (SSI) reports strong hiring for electrical engineers at four California sites. Approximately 50 openings exist for EEs of varied backgrounds, says Ellen Ploeger, staffing program manager, from new graduates to 15- to 20-year veterans. The 20-year-old company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokyo-based TDK Corp.

Although SSI does not release financial information, a company spokeswoman says revenues for the current fiscal year would top $200 million. EEs are needed to work on all types of SSI products, including read-and-write amplifier circuits, pulse detectors and filters, data-recovery ICs, controllers, modem chip sets, digital-transmission ICs, and automotive ICs.
