Packing the equivalent of four analog ICs, the ML2377 microprocessor ([mu]P) peripheral IC provides a complete analog I/O channel. The device includes A/D and D/A converters, input multiplexers, and S/H circuits.
The device operates from a single 5V supply and provides a nominal analog I/O range of [ or -] 2V around a floating common point. The input channel and both output channels have separate common points, allowing you to set the ranges for each function independently. You can also choose between a hardwired or programmable common point for the A/D converter.
The A/D converter provides 10 bits of resolution with a conversion time of 2 [mu]sec. The voltage you provide on a reference input pin sets the converter's full-scale range: 0.8 x...
