What a difference a year can make. As the distribution industry looks back on the year 2000, probably the most common description would be record-breaking. Record-breaking sales and net income figures, and a surprising summer season that was anything but the standard sluggish and sleepy.
And most industry executives and analysts predict at least one more great year.
