Performance where it counts: 1.2 GHz, low distortion op amp and 650 MHz buffer.(Featured products)(National Semiconductor Corp)(Brief Article)

EDN, April, 2005

The LMH6703 amplifier offers a gain range of [ or -] 1 to [ or -] 10 while providing stable operation without external compensation, even at unity gain. At a gain of 2, it supports 750 MHz at 2 Vpp -3 dB bandwidth. The LMH6704 is a programmable gain buffer supporting 650 MHz small signal bandwidth ([A.sub.V] = 1), full power gain flatness to 200 MHz, and excellent differential gain and phase.

Both devices have shutdown and are optimized for up to UXGA-resolution video applications and beyond. However, any wide dynamic range systems requiring exceptional signal fidelity and low distortion, such as the test and measurement markets, can benefit from the performance of the LMH6703 and LMH6704.
