ATVs and Great Outdoor Games.(WHAT'S UP)(all terrain vehicles)

Up until last year, national television exposure for ATV racing was somewhat of a rarity. With the addition of "ATV Sport TV" on the Outdoor Channel in 2004, ATV racers were starting to get the national coverage they'd long craved. Now, ESPN and the Great Outdoor Games are getting into the mix.

As part of a new addition to the Great Outdoor Games line-up, an invitation-only quad race July 9 in Madison, Wis., featuring 16 to 18 racers, is being held. The one-time race (no qualifiers) will be televised live on ESPN. But, here's the kicker: A $30,000 purse is up for grabs. ...
