COIT Services aids red cross relief. (Around the Industry).

Burlingame, Calif.-based specialty cleaner COLT Services Inc. is supporting humanitarian efforts following the Sept. 11 terrorist attack, donating $18,000 to the Red Cross.

"Based on [a] company-wide desire to do something positive in response to the attack, we decided our best action was to donate money to a worthwhile charity supporting the families of the victims," says COIT president and CEO Bob Kearn. "Our research led us to the American Red Cross, which is the largest, most reputable charitable organization serving victims of this national tragedy."
