Kaplan appointed to EPA advisory committee. (Around the Industry).

Dale Kaplan, owner of Kaplan's Careful Cleaners in Camp Hill, Pa., has been appointed to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy & Technology's Compliance Assistance Advisory Committee (CAAC). Accepting the two-year term in May, Kaplan now represents the industry in a workgroup intended to provide advice on the design and implementation of new EPA compliance-assistance programs.
As a CAAC stakeholder, Kaplan says he hopes to "be able to bring to the table issues affecting all drycleaners."
